The name of this new feature of Xiaomi MIUI has been changed

Earlier this month, features like Samsung's Edge Panel were added to Xiaomi's Android Skin MIUI.  The feature is still being tested  It was renamed Smart Toolbox, but the feature has been renamed because of its ambiguity.

According to the telegram channel of MIUI system update, the name of the smart toolbox has been changed to Sidebar.  Note that this is nothing special, the sidebar of Samsung's smartphones and tablets is a clone of the sidebar.  Other smartphone brands also offer this feature.

The name is said to have been fixed by giving an update to the MIUI Security app.  The official Changelog features rename the feature, fix bugs, and improve overall performance.

Currently the sidebar is being accessed while playing games or watching videos.  It is able to show different pinned applications and some tools.  In the near future, it is expected to be as smart as Oppo Color OS 12's Smart Sidebar 2.0.
